The Dance Demo is Coming! On Tuesday, April 22, the students will be showcasing the various style of dance they have been learning in their physical education classes The event will begin promptly at 1:30 in the gym and family and friends are welcome to attend. It is an: "appropriate" free dress day which means the attire should be consistent with the performed dances. (No sports shorts and t-shirts) However, to protect the gym floor, we are asking all students to wear tennis shoes and not wear dress shoes. If you have further questions on what to wear, please talk to your child's classroom teacher. All students at St. Justin School participate in the physical education program on Monday and Friday of each week. (Grades K-5 have P.E. on both days and grades 6-8 have P.E. once a week.) The program is designed to work on the physical, mental and social development of the child through participation in a variety of games and activities. Please keep me posted on medical restrictions and specific situations that would inhibit or prevent your child's participation in physical education by sending in a note. At the end of this restricted period, please send in a note clearing them to fully participate. All students are required to wear their P.E. uniform on their P.E. days. If a free dress day falls on a P.E. day, students still need to wear athletic shoes. Homework will be assigned for grades 3-8 by the end of the month.
