2007-08 SPANISH CLASS

RULES, GRADING AND SUPPLIES

RULES:

No IPODS or cell phones in class. These items will be taken from the students and given to the office. Please refer to the Parent Handbook.

Use book covers for books.

Talking rule: Students will be given one verbal warning before his/her name goes on the

board for talking. Students will be sent to the Principal's office if his/her name is called a

third time.

Homework: it is the student's responsibility to find out what he/she missed if he/she is

absent.

If a student misses a test, it is the student's responsibility to meet with the teacher to

schedule a time and date for test make-up. If a student does not show up on the test

make-up date, he/she will automatically get a zero.

Five points will be deducted every week for late homework. Parents will be contacted

if a student is missing a minimum of two or more homework assignments.

Students will be given 2 week to have Progress Reports or Report Cards signed by

parents. If a student does not return a Progress Report or Report Card within allotted

time, parents will be contacted immediately.

Additional Notes:

Spanish words which are written on the board will be on homework or tests.

There will be lots of spanish-related games to make this class fun. Wins will result

in points or rewards. Good test scores result in rewards.

Please email me or let me know if you are going to be late, absent or if you were sick

or are sick on a particular day.
